Doggy Duty Walking Service

Doggy Duty Walking Service is established in several New York and Connecticut areas, with highly vetted dog walkers. They take pride in their 20-year professional reputation for reliability, flexibility, and consistently excellent service.

The Challange

Doggy Duty built its reputation on the personalized communication, flexibility, and reliability its founder found lacking in larger dog-walking companies. However, its visual identity did not reflect the professionalism of its service or the level of trust it had earned among clients from Manhattan to upper Connecticut. The challenge was to create a refined identity that would appeal to pet owners without losing the warmth and personal attention at the heart of the business.

The Solution

The redesigned identity positions Doggy Duty as an established, dependable service while preserving the warmth and personality expected of a pet-care brand. Its structured, symmetrical composition conveys balance and reliability, reflecting the consistent, high-quality care clients expect.

At the center of the logo, a simplified Great Dane inspired by the owner’s dog creates a meaningful connection to the company’s story while serving as a distinctive and recognizable brand symbol. Bold, uppercase lettering gives the company name a confident presence, while the sans-serif typeface introduces a subtle sense of playfulness that keeps the identity approachable.

The red and black palette reinforces this contrast. Red communicates energy, passion, and care, while black conveys trust, strength, and professionalism. Together, the clear hierarchy, limited color palette, and simplified icon create a memorable and versatile identity that remains recognizable across marketing collateral.
