Q&As

Let's get into the details.

  • I have the most experience working with B2C brands, local businesses, and nonprofits. Over the past five years, however, I have worked with more than 50 clients across eight industries, including healthcare, education, B2B, consumer products, and startups.

I enjoy learning about new industries and adapting my approach to different audiences and goals, so please reach out even if your business does not fall into one of those categories.

  • Not at all! You are in the right place even if you are not completely sure what your business or project needs yet. Clarifying the direction is part of the creative process. Through conversation and research, we can identify your goals, challenges, audience, and the services that will provide the most value.

At the same time, if you already have a goal or general idea in mind, that is a great place for us to start.

  • Yes! Not every project requires a completely new brand identity. I have worked with existing brands on visual refreshes, social media systems, print collateral, campaign materials, and other branded assets. We will begin by reviewing your current identity, what is working, what may need improvement, and how the new work can support your goals while remaining cohesive with your brand.

  • I do not offer a single logo as a stand-alone service, but please keep reading!

A logo is only one part of how a brand is recognized and experienced. Without supporting colors, fonts, logo variations, and other brand assets, it can be difficult to use consistently across different platforms and materials. So, at a minimum, my brand identity work includes a logo suite, color palette, and typography system.

  • Project pricing depends on the scope, deliverables, and timeline, so costs can vary significantly from one project to another. After learning more about your needs, I will recommend a project scope and provide a clear proposal outlining the investment. You can begin by completing the inquiry form and sharing as much detail as possible about your goals, budget, and desired deliverables.

**Quality design will cost! Pricing reflects the time, research, strategy, creative development, and attention to detail.

  • Timelines vary based on the service, project scope, feedback process, and your preferred launch date. Smaller design projects may move more quickly, while brand identities and larger campaigns require additional time for discovery, strategy, concept development, refinement, and production. If you have a firm deadline, include it in your inquiry so I can determine whether it can be accommodated. Once the scope is defined, your proposal will include an estimated project schedule.

  • The process is highly collaborative because you know your brand, audience, and goals better than anyone. You will be involved during discovery, creative direction, feedback, and revisions. I will listen closely to your perspective, explain the reasoning behind my recommendations, and make sure you feel informed throughout the project. At the same time, you are hiring me for my design expertise and creative direction. Being open to that guidance helps us make thoughtful decisions and achieve the strongest possible result together.

  • After you submit your inquiry, I will review the details and follow up within one week. For each service you are requesting, I will send a more detailed questionnaire to learn about your brand, audience, goals, deliverables, and timeline.

If the project appears to be a good fit, I will schedule an introductory call to discuss your needs and answer any initial questions. I will then prepare a proposal outlining the project summary, recommended deliverables, creative process, timeline, investment, payment terms, and next steps.

If you decide to move forward, you will receive a contract and initial invoice. Once those are completed, the project will officially begin with discovery, research, and creative development. From there, we will move through concept presentation, feedback, revisions, final refinements, and delivery so that your new designs are ready to launch.
